This class is by LIVESTREAM (video-conference) only. PLEASE NOTE: Registrations after noon on the business day before the date of the class may not receive the ZOOM information and student materials necessary to participate. If this occurs, contact GRI@garealtor.com for the Zoom information for this class.

Requirements for participating in a virtual class:


  1. Your device must have a video webcam, microphone, and speakers. (You are required to enable video so that we can monitor attendance.)
  2. You need to set up a free Zoom account (https://zoom.us/) prior to the class. (Your free 40-minute account will allow you easy access to our ZOOM Classroom account.)
  3. You are expected to attend the entire class session (except during breaks) just as if you were sitting in a classroom.
  4. After the class, you will be emailed electronic affidavit and class evaluation links. To receive CE credit, you must complete both.

A link to participate in the class and student materials will be sent to registered students the business day before the class.

Class Description
REALTORS are obliged to follow the Code of Ethics which raises their level of commitment to being the best they can be in all aspects of the industry including professional expectations. Skill Building will enhance and fine tune the REALTOR'S base in key areas crucial to making them an exemplary professional who can offer true knowledge and expertise to their clients and customers.

This course will ensure REALTORS use their forms correctly, understand the legal responsibilities when representing buyers and sellers, RESPA, best practices when negotiating, valuation of properties, branding, marketing, handling objections and an overall knowledge of the Code of Ethics. All the tools they need to be the best REALTOR they can be.

REALTORS will have a broader view of the importance of the spirit of cooperation when working with other REALTORS and licensees. REALTORS will also learn how to work to keep client's interests primary and how to handle difficult situations.

- NAR Code of Ethics and
- GREC License Credit:
    - 15 Hours of GREC CE OR
    - Salesperson Post-License Credit when combined with Risk Management (2-Day Core Course)

Map & Directions

Carol Moson

Carol Moson started selling real estate while teaching high school biology. It didn’t take long for her to realize the earning potential was much greater in real estate and that the only boundaries were the ones you set for yourself. Carol believes education is extremely important no matter what your field of expertise is and, because teaching still in her blood, she became an instructor for NAR, GAR and local boards. Carol is a CRS multiple other designations because of her belief in staying current and abreast of trends, tools, etc. Carol has served as a President of her local Association. At the State level, Carol has chaired the Course and Instructor Development Committee, grievance and professional standards committees and serves as an RPAC Trustee. She is especially honored to have served as GAR’s Chair of State and Local Governmental Affairs for 2016. Carol is the author of Risk Management and Skill Building, 2 of the 3 core GRI classes and is GAR’s 2017 Instructor of the Year.
